Pius Wises, the president of Swiss Association of forestry contractors, has declared that the forestry politics is based on the protection of the nature. That’s why he wants a change of this politics’ orientation.
The forestry economy can contribute at achieving the fixed goals regarding the climate in order to develop. At this development can also contribute the increased capacity of the sawmill from Switzerland. The use of the wood in many fields has contributed at the reduction of the raw material’s importation.
This way, this association demands for a reorientation of the forestry politics towards exploitation more intensive and more profitable.
